Gena, you was born with a heart of gold. I can truly say that you made yourself a available for all of us, never complaining. but always giving your last. You were blessed with strength and toughness, two of the characteristics that is deeply admired. The love that we share for you will live on in our hearts. As you embark on your spiritual journey, may your Good Work be your passage into the Eternal Kingdom.

I wish you sweet immortality my big sister
You earned eternal life in the embrace of the Lord so dear.
So even though I will miss seeing your smiling face and hearing your voice, I know you had no choice.
There’s so much that you've left untold but I know that one day your story will unfold.
I hate that you had to endure such pain,
but, oh my big sister, you never complained.
I want to know and tell your story, be your voice now because that’s my choice.
So I will listen for the unspoken words you've left behind and visualize things so sublime, while dreaming of our former times.
As you soar on eagles wings, sleep has fallen upon your head,
A taste of grieving we have been fed.
But I have hope that though sleeping you will rise.
The Bible says that God will open your eyes.
No suffering, sickness, yes, not even pain.
Those who did good, eternal life they'll gain.
Sleep tight my big sister, for now we know your star is bright and that we will always see your light.

“When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?”
