Ralph William BowlesRalph W. Bowles, 69, died peacefully at his home on Wednesday June 23, 2004 after his courageous battle with cancer. He leaves behind Tomoko, his loving wife of 43 years, his children, Linda, Sandra and Steve, a sister Mary Lou Stone, their spouses, as well as 8 grandchildren and one on the way. Hailing from Patrick Springs, Virginia, Ralph was a true southern gentleman. He served his country honorably for twenty years, retiring from the U.S. Army as Master Sergeant. After his retirement from the military, Ralph had a successful 30-year career in the car business. Ralph was a faithful SGI member for over 43 years where he touched many, many lives. He was blessed with a great sense of humor and made countless people laugh. Ralph loved gardening, laughing, family, friends, cars, dogs, and shoes! All who had the good fortune to know him will miss him. We love him very much. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2004 at 3:00PM in the Mt. View Celebration of Life Center.
