Presentacion Molina Talvo's Obituary
Presentacion Molina Talvo of Lakewood, WA, passed away peacefully on
the morning of July 2, 2024. Presy was born on November 20, 1940, in
Pangasinan, Philippines, to the late Tomas and Susana Molina. She is
survived by her loving husband, Evaristo; her son, Everett (Jean-Marie);
her daughter, Suzanne (Zach); her grandchildren, Alysa, Marisa, Zachary,
Owen, and Declan; her sisters, Charito, Lita, and Mercy, and her
sisters-in-law Maria, and Veronica. Presy is also preceded in passing by her brothers
Federico, Pepito, and Jose.
After graduating in Nursing in the Philippines, Presy and a group of
friends decided to make the move to the United States. Having visited
many cities, she chose to plant her roots in Lakewood, WA. Soon after, she
married her high school sweetheart, Evaristo Talvo. In the mid-60s, she
became a mother to Everett and Suzanne. In the late 90s and onward, she
became a grandmother to Alysa, Marisa, Zachary, Owen, and Declan.
Presy was a retired registered nurse who dedicated her life to caring for
others. Her compassion and nurturing spirit touched the lives of many.
Over the years, she was also an active member and officer of the Filipino
American League and a devoted member of the Urdaneta Association of
Washington. Since the early 60s, she and Evaristo have been long-time
parishioners of St. Frances Cabrini. They were married in 1965 and had
their children baptized and confirmed in the same church. Presy's love for
life was evident in everything she did. She enjoyed dancing, taking trips
and cruises, shopping, cooking, and spending time with family and
friends. She cherished gatherings and an occasional trip to the casinos.
Presy's warmth, kindness, and generosity will be deeply missed by all
who knew her.
