She was the sweetest and most loving grandma . Whenever she would walk into a room she would light up the place with her smile and her voice that could be heard from miles away. She was the embodiment of elegance and selflessness , always tending to others needs before her own. Taking care of her loved ones was a priority as she would constantly make calls to family and friends throughout the day to see how everyone was doing. Her laugh and smile was infectious , and i always found comfort from her voice alone. We both shared an interest in fashion and cooking , and we would always swap clothes and recipes . I thank her for making my childhood as great as it was, my fondest memories are with her in it. There is not enough words in this world to even describe how much of an amazing person she was , she was a hard working nurse, an influential member of the Filipino community in Washington, and lived a long beautiful life with her family. I will miss her so much and my heart aches deeply from her loss, a part of my heart went with her as she passed but she also lives within me and for that i am grateful. God has given me the greatest blessing and gift of being your granddaughter in this lifetime, I love you forever <3 - Alysa Kurian
