Was so sad to hear about Piper passing. She was such a kind lady. Our condolences to her family. Charles and Cara Jakway.
How do I say goodbye to a dear friend of over 50 years? Piper always knew just what needed to be said at times like this, and it is thoughts like that which cause me to miss her even more. She never complained even when her burdens were several and instead chose to focus on the needs of those around her. God just did not make enough of her, and so she did the work of an army all by herself. Selfless to fault. She had a heart so big it exceeded the capacity her little body. She was the little engine that could. I will never get over missing her.
I was so saddened to hear this. What a remarkable legacy she left.
Condolences. Kris Wallerich
Piper, the greatest friend anyone could ask for, she was my partner and crime, I will miss her and love her forever, my sick sense of humor is because of Piper, Rest In Peace till we meet again, your buddy Ang
I was with Piper at Annie for years, and always admired her. One time she brought in a form to the teacher( maybe 2nd grade) from her parents. The teacher asked, “Who scribbled on this?!”. Piper answered that it was her dad’s signature. We all laughed!
Piper was in our class for I believe a year when Charles Wright Academy took in girls. I remember her fondly. She was always very kind and had a wonderful smile. I am so very sorry for your loss.
