Phyllis KalbrenerLoving Mother and GrandmotherPhyllis Kalbrener, 82, of University Place, passed away June 17, 2004. She was born in Minnesota on March 15, 1922, the only child of Walter and Edith Heine, and raised in Los Angelis, CA. She taught first grade at Charles Wright Academy for 25 years, was an active member of St. MaryÂ's Episcopal Church for 44 years, and a member of PEO.She is survived by her children Lesley Sprague, Bill Kalbrener (Paula), Kevin Kalbrener (Mavis), Scott Kalbrener, John Kalbrener (Christie), and Kip Kalbrener (Nancy), 11 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.Memorial services will be 11:00am, Wednesday June 23, 2004 at St. MaryÂ's Episcopal Church, in Lakewood. In lieu of flowers, remembrance may be sent to American Cancer Society, or to the PEO Chapter HN Scholarship Fund in care of St. MaryÂ's Church.
