Penny A. Spragg's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Penny Alice Spragg, age 79, on March 11, 2025 in Tacoma, Washington.
Penny Spragg was born in Tacoma, WA on July 9, 1945 to parents David and Helen McKechnie. She attended high school locally in Pierce County. On April 3, 1964 she married her husband, Dennis Spragg, who predeceased her on August 22, 2021. She was primarily a homemaker who loved arts and crafts, camping, and watching Big Bang Theory on her special chair in front of her TV. She also had a love of flowers.
She is survived by a loving family, including her three children – Kathleen, Dennis (Diana), and Carol, as well as her grandchildren Justin and Nathan (Alyssa) Spragg, and three step-grandchildren Josh, Deanna, and little Justin. She is also survived by her seven great-grandchildren, Bryson, Kenlie, Stetson, Paisley, Emma, Kylie, and Charlie, as well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by five of her sisters, five of her brothers, and has one living sister, Patricia Andrews.
Ms. Spragg will be forever loved and remembered by her family, who miss her very much. They are honoring her memory with a graveside committal service on March 26, 2025 at 1:30pm at Mountain View Funeral Home, with a reception to follow.
