Kim Meyer
It has been a long-time time since I have seen my Aunt Penny, but I think of her often and with fondness. My dad Roger was Denny’s brother and we used to spend many weekends at their home helping around the shop and eventually the property in Randal. No matter what time we arrived, there were sandwiches ready, and Pepsis in the fridge. Most of my favorite childhood memories involve those weekends.
Years later my children got to meet their Aunt Penny, and she had their sandwiches ready, and the sodas were still in the fridge.
She will be greatly missed and will always hold a special place in my heart.
PS-She was the only person ever allowed to call me “Kimmy Ann” and have me answer, and that will always be so.
