Owen Wallace O,'Dom Jr. Lt. Col. (retired)Don was born 4/10/1918 in Hinsonton, Georgia and passed away 3/07/2007 in Lakewood, Washington.Lt. Col. O,'Dom served in the United States Army Engineer Corps during World War II. He started as a private at Fort Benning Georgia and went through the War in the South Pacific, returning to the States after being wounded. It was then that he met and married the love of his life, Virginia. Together they lived in Japan, Germany and France and raised two wonderful children: Patrick (Susie) and Ginny (Greg) Burns. Don loved his family, hunting, golf and the Georgia Bulldogs. He is lovingly remembered by six grandchildren and five great-grandsons. Graveside services will be 1:15 Friday March 30, 2007 at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA. The family wishes to thank the Staff of the Franciscan Hospice House for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Franciscan Hospice House, 2901 Bridgeport Way N, University Place, Washington, 98466.
