Nina R. Brown's Obituary
Born in Coupeville, WA, Nina (Sherman)(Segar)(Peterson) Brown was a very loving, caring, and thoughtful person. She touched all who knew her with her charm, wit and caring ways in her 91 years.Nina was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She enjoyed bowling, flowers, taking care of birds, squirrels, and going to the ocean. She loved the Mariners and was their #1 fan.Nina is loved and survived by her husband Paul of 30 years; daughters, Anna (Lou) Tondino, and Nadine (Larry) Fulton; son, Wayne (Mary) Segar; stepsons, Lenny and Doug Peterson; grandchildren, Dominic, Luanne, Wayne, Randy, Nancy, Bob, Cindy, Teri, Doreen, Mike, Jack, Ken, Julie, Kim, and Christine; 22 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Arline (Ed) Mulvihill, and Cora (Gene) Sangrey; her favorite pet Â"Zach;Â" and special friends, Dora Hinojosa, Connie Doyle, and many other lifelong friends. Predeceased by husbands Joe Segar, and Haley Peterson; and loving daughter, Doris Olson.Visitation will be Thursday evening 5-9pm, Friday 8am-9pm, and Saturday until 11am. Funeral Services will be 3:00pm, Saturday, April 3, 2004 at the Mountain View Valley Chapel, with a reception immediately following the graveside. Remembrances may be made in her memory to the Tacoma Rescue Mission.
