I met Nina when she became a patient in the dental office I was working in so many years ago I can't even remember. I always enjoyed her visits because she was so pleasant and had such a good sense of humor. My heart aches for Nadine because I know how close they were. I will keep you in my prayers and heaven is a much brighter place now.

I was so sorry to hear about Nina's passing. I am a nurse with Dr. White office and had been calling Nina monthly since 9/03. I was so glad when she told me, back in January, that she had hoped to return to bowling after having her knee surgery. She often told me how much she loved her husband Paul and how great he was. I am sure all of Nina's family will miss her, I know I will.

I have so many wonderful memories of Grandma Nina --Sharing her love of baseball and the Mariners,playing spoons, going bowling together at Narrows Plaza Bowl when it first opened! Grandma taking us all to Old Country Buffet when were kids. Grandma always wanted to make sure we all had enough to eat whether we were eating out or at her house! Grandma was a wonderful listener, you always felt welcome when you went to her house no matter what time or what day it was. I remember her love of plants and animals..she could not walk by a plant without picking off the dead leaves or seeing if it needed some water! Grandma Nina represented to me the best of what family is all about and I am so grateful that I was her grandson. I will always love you Grandma Nina and miss you so much.

Nadine, you know my heartfelt condolences are with you. I wish I could do something to make it better. I cannot beleive how much more beautiful your mom has become over the years. She was always pretty but as she aged she became beautiful. I know you'll miss her but she'll always be in our hearts and thoughts. I myself will miss her a great deal. You have no idea how many time I have thought of Nina over the years when I look at my cruifix. It is still the first thing hung in my house whether we move or just have to take it down to paint. I wish I could just take away all the hurt but I can't I can only be there whenever you need to talk, cry, or just be angry because this happened no matter what the time of day is. Nina, we only knew you for a few years, but we feel privileged to have met you. We have some lovely memories of our times at the Orleans Bowling Centre in Las Vegas. We will never forget you and your lovely sense of humour.

It was Nina's first day of school and she was walking home with Wilbur, Mary, Iva, Clark, Raleigh, when they came on Mr. Terry out in his yard. Mr. Terry was having a little smoke. They used a funny little pipe in those days that took plug tobacco. Tobacco came in a plug that could be cut off. Mr. Terry was asking the kids where Nina was going and what was going on as he was loading his pipe. They explained that it was Nina's first day of school and she was on her way home. With that he burst into laughter exclaiming that Little bit is too small to be in school. At which point he was laughing so hard he dumped his tobacco out of his pipe-spilled it right out. Grandma, we will miss you so much. I remember when you would watch Teri and I make mud pies on your back patio and you'd find things in the kitchen so we could make differant shapes of them, and when i'd help you water your plants out back. There are so many wonderfull memories that We will always have. The boys always referred to you as "the grandma with the nice dog".And they always new they could get a cookie at grandmas house. we will keep you in our hearts forever.
