Nina Rae Fitzpatrick's Obituary
Nina Rae (Hawman) Fitzpatrick passed from this life on April 28, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Tacoma, WA on March 26, 1956 to Joe and Beulah Hawman. She is now reunited with them and her older brother Jim. She is survived by her husband Tom, her companion and best friend of 35 years, her devoted daughter Jaime Bate-Willet (Barrett), two beautiful grandsons, Jay and Quinn, her sister Jolene Moore and sister-in-law, Vicky Noyse. She also leaves behind her nieces Micah Jo Moore and Sarah Townsend, and nephews Jet and Mik Moore.
Nina was employed with United Pacific Reliance Insurance Company and Super Value. She then decided to join her husband in running their business of Torch and Regulator in Tacoma for many years.
She, along with so many others, was a devout Seahawks fan. Nina felt blessed to be able to have watched her team go on to play two Super Bowls along with her friends and family. A true highlight and joyful period for these past two years.
Gone too soon, we will miss you dearly. We are all very proud of you and the amazing strength you have shown us this past year, Nina. Rest peacefully now in the presence of your Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations be made to Good Samaritan Home Health and Hospice.
A small gathering to honor Nina will be held at her daughter Jaime's home (2118 N. Alder Street, Tacoma, WA 98406) Saturday, May 9th at 2pm.
