Nickolas G Herbrand's Obituary
A devoted husband of 51 years, hard working father, and a kind and generous man has left our earth 5/5/06. His stay with us included work as a woodcutter, an airplane mechanic, truck driver and many adventures in between. He was a good American, involved in both WW2 and the Korean War. Born in Shevlin, Minnesota 2/22/26 to Daniel and Tillie Herbrand, he lived and traveled many places, but settled in Tacoma, Washington in 1953, where he remained until his death. Blessed with a long life, he retired in 1992 and spent his later years working in his wood shop. He is survived by many: His brothers Raymond, Gilbert, Daniel, and Neil, and two sisters, Geneva and Rosella. Sons Marcus, Randall, Nickolas, daughters Diana, Susan, Shelly, 9 grand children and 6 great grand children, many friends and many strangers that benefited from his life and good will. There will be no services.
