Nicholas Adams' Obituary
Nicholas Adams passed away Friday, Oct. 15, 2004 of acute leukemia. He was 52. He is survived by two sons, James J. Adams, 18, a freshman cadet at the U.S. Air Force Academy, CO; and John H. Adams, 14, a freshman at Black Hills High School, Tumwater. Also, NickÂ's wife, Jill Tokarczyk Adams, survives him. As does his mother Tamara Adams, and sister, Barbara Adams, both of Seattle.Nick was born Jan. 15, 1952 in Seattle, WA. He graduated from Ballard High School, Seattle, and the University of Washington, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business, a MBA, and a J.D. degree from the U of W Law School. Most recently he was president and branch manager of James W. Hodges Commercial Real Estate, and partner in several water and development partnerships. He also was a supporter of sound environmental practices, especially for maintaining wetlands and clean water supplies. His favorite activities were traveling and playing tennis with his family, biking, reading historical books, and walking trails throughout the U.S.Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 22, 2004 in the Mt. View Celebration of Life Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Washington Chapter, 530 Dexter Ave. N., Suite 300, Seattle, WA 98109, or The Salvation Army.
