Our sincere sympathy at the loss of your husband and father. Although we didn't know Nick, it is clear he was a fine man with many friends and a caring family. We hope that you will always take comfort and strength from your memories of him.##imported-begin##Dave Cheal and Linda Murphy##imported-end##
Nick always has and always will be my heroe. Nick gave me a chance when I was just a kid, he taught me not only many aspects of the professional world, but about life. Nick helped me grow.....and with that I will continue to shadow in his footsteps. I will dearly miss Nick and forever do what it takes to keep what he has built strong. I will miss Nick ever so much, but I realize that he is no longer in pain. To Jill, John, and James...keep your chins up and understand that Nick will remain in all of our hearts forever! He is a inspiration to so many of us! God Bless!

Jill and family,
I appreciate the valuable contribution Nick gave to the Thurston Co. Water Conservancy Board and his dedication to water management. His presence and influence through his community involvement will be missed by all of us that worked with him. My thoughts are with you and your family.##imported-begin##Janet Carlson##imported-end##
My condolences to Jill and Nick's children. Your husband and father was a remarkable man, and a pleasure to work with. I regret that I did not have more time to know him better and to learn from him. When I would visit him in the nursing home, he would always ask about my life - regardless of his own condition. He appeared always to be reaching out to other people. May his memory live on through our interactions with others and the world around us.##imported-begin##Cliff Godwin##imported-end##
Jill and family,
I first met Nick as part of the Hodges real estate office over 20 years ago. I always enjoyed working with Nick and after leaving Hodges, sought his help and counsel periodically over the years. Nick was always able to provide insight and understanding. He had a nack for being able to communicate his ideas and thoughts clearly,in an unasuming, yet very persuasive way. Know that through the people he has touched, he has affected many more people than you will ever know. We'll all miss him. - Dean##imported-begin##Dean Stohl##imported-end##
