Nancy was a very special person in my life. She gave me my first bath. Her and Joe were very good friends with my family for years. They were so much fun to be around.
We used to go berry picking, have picnics, go to the Roundup picnics and it was a good time.
I'll always remember Nancy has a special person.

Nancy was the best. She wasn't actually a family member, but she treated us like we were members of hers. She always took the time to write cards and letters, invited us to a home cooked meal when we were in town, and gave good advice about life. A bundle of energy, she was a good listerner, whitty, a hard worker, a great gardener, musician, and just a wonderful person to spend time with all around. If there were more like her in the world, what a place it would be. Her memory lives on in her very loving and loyal family, son Jack, all her wonderful grandchildren, and great grandchildren. I will miss her and I wish I could be there with all of you. Love, Cheryl, Gary, Scott, and Jason

Whenever I was in town to visit Aunt Bernice, I also looked forward to my time with Nancy. I remember her as a fantastic cook and gardener, with a brilliant mind. Nancy and my Aunt Bernice drove all the way to Los Angeles, in 1989, to attend my wedding - a labor of love!
Her mind was still sharp as ever during my visits in March. We played Scrabble (she won!), and Nancy played many songs on her Organ, too.
She had an amazing life, with many adventures, and a challenging career. She loved her family, especially her descendants - who she was most proud of, they gave her great joy.

Aunt Nancy was a very special lady. I will always remember going to her house with Nana and Papa (Agnes and Steve Wasalino) when I was a little girl and playing the organ.
