To the family of Morrie Peterson:
I have a lot of great memories of Morrie and would like to share a couple. Morrie always had a smile and a hug for me, whenever I saw him. He was a very warm and caring person and always asked questions about our family. He video taped our daughter's wedding rehearsal and wedding (Kris Johnston Fuls). We have that memory with us forever on tape because Morrie was so kind and generous to tape it for us. We will miss him terribly but one day we will fellowship again, in heaven!

We too have fond memories of Uncle Mory. And you will be greatly missed by our family. You always had that sincere smile and true laugh about you. What a sunshine you were. Remembering all those special summer picnic times at Wapato Park that you and Aunt Dory would host for the family. You always found positives in everything. In fact....we can't remember a bad thing about you. =) What a great influence you are leaving behind in all the lives you have touched in this lifetime. Awesome Uncle Mory! Life has been good and you survived all the little bumps. You are blessed. Our hearts go out to Aunt Dory and the family. You are in a truly good place Uncle Mory. God bless.

You are my beloved Uncle in whom I have spent countless hours with sharing stories, "squealing" on the icy roads, shopping, eating pistachio ice cream cones and the like. Mory, I will always remember your smiling face. Every Sunday at Bethesda, I was only a teenager, but you were always willing to talk & joke. I swear that smile was permanent :) You are a part of some of my favorite memories.
I'm excited to know, that when I reach heaven, you're going to be there to chat with once again. You lived a life that told me that Jesus truly does love us all. I will miss you for the time being, but we will get to spend eternity together. That is truly the greatest comfort anyone could ever have.

Even though I was young, I still have memories of the times when the family would go and visit Mory and Dory at their home. He was my grandmotherâ€™s brother, but I look at him as the closest thing that I had to a grandfather, considering 3 of my 4 grandparents passed away before my time. Growing up at Bethesda, I would see him there to pick up Dory and her mother. It was a great joy when I started seeing him there during the services too. One of my biggest memories is when I was in junior high and high school. He would loan my nutty friends and me his video camera so we could make our own movies. Back then they were truly expensive, but he gave it to us teens anyway without asking any questions. Even though we are no longer at Bethesda, our fun that started with that video camera many years ago is now being used at the church we call home today. We joined the drama team where we will pose questions or situations for the congregation to ponder or as a setup for our pastor's sermon. His generosity 20 years ago is helping people in their walk with Christ today. I will always remember that whenever you saw him he had a smile and a laugh for you. And how could you not smile back when you saw his? Have a smile waiting for me on the day I get to join you in Heaven.##imported-begin##Mitch Korsmoe##imported-end##
