Our mother was a simple and charismatic lady who shared her humor and gusto for life with her family and many friends. She was involved in PTA, Eastern Star, and church, being a 55 year member of Asbury Methodist Church. Her children were the elixir of her being as were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She and her closest friends met for Saturday breakfast every week for 30 some years. Her church friends she met with monthly as well as Sundays. Mildred and Robert celebrated their 50 years together just 2 weeks before he died.
