Michael Wayne Hilliard's Obituary
A loving husband, father, son, brother and friend passed away peacefully Nov. 26, 2004.Mike was born June 18, 1948 in Centralia, WA. He was raised in Raymond, WA and graduated from Raymond High School. After graduating from school, Mike went into the Army where he served in Korea.Mike eventually moved to Tacoma, WA where he worked for the Tacoma Elks for over 20 years starting out as a bartender and advancing to co-manager.After leaving the Elks, Mike went to work for Peerless Linen where he remained until his illness.MikeÂ's favorite past-times were camping, fishing, working in his garden, and hanging out with his grandsons and good friend Rick.He is survived by his wife Sandy; children Nicole (Ben), Jamie (Tim) and Erik (Rebecca); father Jim Hilliard (Hazel); twin sister Michele Davis (Wes); grandchildren Austin, Jason and Peyton; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Lorna Simonds.Donations may be made to the charity of your choice.Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 4, 2004 in the Mt. View Valley Chapel.
