I wish I could be there to celebrate the homegoing of my father. However I'm glad I got to meet him and I'm at peace knowing that he is with God now .
I loved Michael and will miss him a lot. My girlfriend, Heidi (Voth) Davison (a former classmate of Michael's) and I were fortunate to get to spend time with him when he came to Kansas for a visit a couple of years ago. Michael, his big brother, and I had a wonderful evening together watching my son play football for El Dorado High School. Heidi, her daughter Kristen, and I were all amazed by his wonderful voice, his warm smile, and his loving personality. I am so glad we were able to reconnect with him after many years.
