I was so sorry to hear about MaryJane, but I am so thankful that I got to know her. MaryJane was such a great friend and person. MaryJane was so thoughtful, humorous and generous. I feel great that she is now with Jesus and her beloved Gene. Know that she was so proud of her family; children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I knew MaryJane as a wonderful neighbor. The bible gives us a definition of a good neighbor and MaryJane took it and did well. She made us and everyone on Crestview Dr. feel welcome, loved and watched out for. The neighborhood has not been close to the same since she moved. I am very sorry that I was unable to make it to the memorial service. My husband was hunting and we are the neighbors with the three little children. MaryJane gave me a wall hanging that says, "This marriage has been temporarily interrupted for hunting season" that was on her wall for years, so I know she would understand. I have really misses MaryJane the last year. She really was a remarkable and admirable woman. Your family has been in my prayers. I was very sorry to hear about Mary Jane I knew her through Dr Brooks office for many years-I enjoyed seeing her & teasing her too-Im glad I had the opportunity to meet such a wonderful person-I know she is rejoicing with Gene again whom she talked about always! Thank you for the love you showed our family. You were such a wonderful neighbor and friend to all of us. When we moved in and were putting up the fence, you were so afraid that we would fence you out, so we put a gate there so you could come over whenever you wanted. That gate granted you access to our home, but more importantly, it granted you access to our hearts and we will always love you and cherish the wonderful times of laughter we shared with you. You will truly be missed by all who knew you. Mary Jane, say hi to Grandpa Gene and tell him we can't wait to meet him!!
