Marvin W. SkinnerMarvin Skinner, 81, of Sumner passed away November 19, 2003. He was born on February 18, 1922 in Carroll, Iowa to Zed and Minnie Skinner. Marv was an electrician who retired from Simpson Tacoma Kraft (formerly St. Regis) in 1984. His favorite pastimes were hunting, camping, bowling, and he loved to go fishing. He was a member of the Eagles Aerie #2308 of Puyallup, VFW Post #2224, and Amvets Post #1. He was preceded in death by Flossie Skinner; brothers, Earl Skinner, Clarence Skinner, and Bill Skinner; and sisters, Inez Lux and Ethel McCulley.He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret; son, Wally (Annette); grandsons, Steve and Brandon (Sara); brother, Jim (Jean) Skinner; several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends whose lives he touched. He will be dearly missed. The family would like to thank Dr. Goldberg and his office staff for the many years care provided to Marv, and the nurses on the Oncology floor at Good Samaritan Hospital, and the staff at Regency Rehab Center; Â"thank you all for your loving care.Â"Visitation will be from 1 PM until 7 PM, Sunday, November 23rd at Mt. View Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 12 P.M., Monday, November 24, 2003 at the Mt. View Valley Chapel.In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made in MarvÂ's name to Rainier Oncology, Puyallup, WA.
