On November 4, 1962 Marsha met John Ellis Jones, who was serving in the U.S Army in Miami. They fell in love and were married only 25 days later on November 29, 1962. Although their courtship was short their marriage endured for almost 55 years.

Leonard Wood, Missouri after serving as the Red River Area Personnel Manager
Marsha enjoyed fishing with her husband, playing Bingo and searching for “treasures” in antique stores with her friends. After moving to the Tacoma area in 2015 she enjoyed the loving relationship that she built with her grandchildren and son-in law
.

Marsha was also touched with love by her grandson Herman’s fiancée, Windy Huynh, and by Peter Kautz, a longtime friend of her granddaughter Darice. Marsha considered Windy and Peter part of her family and cherished her relationship with both.
Marsha suffered her final years with renal failure which required dialysis. The family would like to request that those who wish to honor her memory do so by making a donation to the National Kidney Foundation or your local Dialysis Center.
Marsha Jones is at peace, she is with our Lord. Now life goes on until we are called home and she meets us at the gates of Heaven to give us direction and guidance in death as she did in life.
