Marna was such a great lady, her sense of humor was very much appreciated. I’ll never forget her telling of getting a rather suggestive phone call. She thought it was someone playing a trick on her, and the caller finally hung up on her!
The many potluck dinners at Emmanuel Lutheran, where her famous “slider stew” was always a hit. For our wedding, she gifted us the recipe along with a crockpot to cook it in. The recipe is still one of our favorites.
My 34 year old son still remembers her as “Marna, smooch smooch”
My parents would bring him to church and set him in the back in his car seat while Dad ushered, Marna would always stop by and give him a big smooch!
Marna is back together with the love of her life, Jack, but she will be missed here on earth!
