Markus J. Basher's Obituary
Markus J. BasherÂ"Safe In GrandpaÂ's ArmsÂ"With his sparkling eyes, the color of blue, HeÂ's opened our hearts, you know itÂ's true. HeÂ's been through so much in his very short life, but heÂ's showed us all we can survive with his strength and his strife. His handicap and other problems to us seem so unfair. Although we all must realize thereÂ's a reason the Lord put them there. He works so hard when he tries something new. That he never gives up until he comes through. HeÂ's never let his problems slow him down or get in his way, And thatÂ's how heÂ's made us proud with his accomplishments everyday. And even when times seem oh so tough he lifts our spirits with his beautiful smile, and he makes us all realize itÂ's not so bad but truly worthwhile.Markus was born December 4, 1979 to his mother Twyla Eriksen and father Mark Basher. He closed his eyes and went to rest at home in his moms arms on February 7, 2003. He touched the hearts of so many with his love and charm. His two biggest loves of life were football and food. He will be greatly missed. He now can carry on his new journey safely with the Lord along with his grandpa Russell Eriksen and grandma and grandpa Basher. Along with his parents Markus is survived by His grandma, Patricia Eriksen; 3 brothers, Joseph and Michael Yusko and Joshua Basher; 2 sisters Breanna Basher and Amanda Bisson; His second mom, Connie Shook; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Two very dear people to his heart Gary Bisson and Karen Carsner and all of those who were ever blessed with the privilege of knowing him.My son, may God bless you and keep you safe. Thank you so much for all you gave to me. You taught me so much. Because of the strength you showed, you must now rest peacefully, knowing we will all be safe as well. You may now run and play football with grandpa and eat at the biggest food buffet ever. I will love you and miss you forever, until we are together once again.
