Mark H. Kaytna's Obituary
Mark Kaytna
Eagle Eye
September 7, 1965-April 7, 2009
Mark's life was tragically and unfairly taken from us by a drunk driver but his light shines on in the many lives he touched with his kindness and generosity. Mark was born on a military base in Seoul, South Korea. From there he moved with his family to Hawaii for a brief time and then to Arizona where he grew up. He moved with his family to Tacoma in 1982 and soon afterwards got his first motorcycle. Mark graduated from Bellarmine Preparatory School in 1984 and then went on to study at WSU, Pierce College, and WWU. He studied architecture, art and engineering. Mark was an extremely gifted artist and technician. He enjoyed making intricate miniature models by hand. His skills as a chef and a barbecuer are well known, skills which were completely self-taught. He loved to cook for others. Mark was a dedicated son who stayed home to take care of his parents. He will be missed greatly by everyone.
