To Marks Family
I wish to express to my sincere Condolences to all of Marks family for your great loss.
I truly believe that anyone that knew Mark had to be inspired by him in one way or another.
The first time he showed me his art I just could not believe what I was seeing. His little figures were just amazing. Mark started me in the direction of creating my own art and I believe he inspired me in what I create now.
I have nothing but fond and loving memories of him.
When we parted he told me "Your going to miss me" I said "I know I will and I already do". I have always thought back and remembered how special Mark made me feel. He always told me that I was a work of art. But I know now that Mark was the work of art.
I am happy that Mark had such a wonderful family. He always talked lovingly about you all. He talked about lizard on a stick from when he was in Korea and that if he got caught he would get in trouble for eating it. And something about this sugar candy on a stick. If you could eat around the design in the middle without breaking it you would get another one for free. He had great stories and memories.
I was always a little afraid about Mark and the Motorcycle. But I know he loved his bike and he was a free spirit.
May you be reassured that many people have been left with loving memories and lasting stories about Mark. He will not be forgotten.
I knew that I met a beautiful loving man from the first day I saw him.
I will always hold the memory of him in my heart with fondness.
May you have Peace and Comfort in this time of sorrow.
Sincerely,
Kim George
