Marjorie Fay Edington's Obituary
Born October 19, 1917 on a ranch near Richie, Dawson County, Montana to Bruce and Ethel Edington. She went to be with her Lord May 16, 2003 in Tacoma, Washington. She leaves her younger brother Richard O. Edington of the home. Her parents and middle brother preceded her in death.She has a niece in Wisconsin, a nephew in Oregon, and five grand nieces and nephews in Oregon.She was a teacher for nearly 40 years. First as a science (Physics and Chemistry) teacher in secondary schools, then as a librarian in the elementary schools. First in Boyd, WI and Rice Lake, WI, then in Muketeo, WA and Edgewood, WA, and finally in Tacoma, WA. She retired in 1978. She attended the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire and Madison campuses. She also attended the University of Washington for her Librarian credentials.She belonged to the NEA, WEA, and TACT professional organizations.In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Heart or Diabetes organizations, or your favorite charity. Marge will be sorely missed by her brother, relatives, and friends.Viewing will be from 12pm to 9pm, Friday, May 23, 2003 at Mountain View Funeral Home.Services will be held at 1pm, Saturday, May 24, 2003 in the Mt. View Garden Chapel.
