My sympathies to the family and friends of Marjorie Edington. She was my K-8 school librarian at Edgewood and allowed me to â€œhelpÃ‚â€ her after school. Her friendly, yet firm manner earned her the respect of everyone and she was always arriving early and working late to make things better for the school. I remember her kindness to me and other students as well as her enthusiasm for books and reading. She really served as the inspiration for my 36 years in education, 33 years as a librarian.
