Marilu Chico-Tiglao's Obituary
Marilu Chico-Tiglao 66 of Lakewood, passed away May 8, 2015. She was born June 17, 1948 in Manila, Philippines. She lived in the Philippines with her mom and dad Matilde and William Tiglao until moving to Washington state in 1967. Marilu worked at McChord AFB AAFES. Marilu enjoyed many interests included woodcarving, painting, visiting friends and mostly helping those she felt needed help.
Marilu was a member of the Northwest Wood Carvers Association. She belonged to the Holy Rosary Catholic church of Tacoma, Our Lady Queen of Heaven of Spanaway and St. Francis Cabrini of Lakewood.
Marilu's devotion toward God was shown through her many ways of sharing her love towards people at church, senior centers, visiting people at nursing homes and group homes.
She will be missed and will be forever-loved.
A memorial service for Marilu's friends will be held at Our Lady Queen Of Heaven Catholic Church, 14601 A Street South, Tacoma WA at 11:00/AM. A reception will be held following her Memorial Service at Our lady Of Queen Heaven Parish Hall. Relative and friends kindly invited.
