Grandma, it is so hard to say goodbye in an earthly sense, yet my heart knows we will always be together, for eternity, with our Lord in a place where there is no pain and no tears. I am so thankful for that as it broke my heart to see you in the pain that you had to endure in the end. You have always been there for me, summers swimming, riding ponies, fishing, gardening and playing music. I so enjoyed our summers in Graham, they were so special, and I know I was blessed to have the relationship I had with you for 49 years. You helped me with each of my children when they were babes, even in the heat of Georgia! Curtis, Shayla and Philip were blessed to have a great grandma who prayed for them as you did. You were loved by our family and will be greatly missed. I LOVE you grandma,
Kim
Dear Grandma,
The memories I have of you are few, but they have forever burned brightly.
In my heart, there is a place where a part of you has always been, reflecting spiritual love. A place, my memory has decorated with blue wildflowers, picked for you many years ago. A place, with your lilting laugher, followed by the "yes" of understanding, comforting me with reassurance. A place, filled with the light of your loving, forgiving nature, which will never fade from me.
It has been more than forty years since I last saw my aunt, Marian. But she will always be vivid in my memory. Her smile and laughter, her kindness, her hospitality, her obvious love for my uncle Em and her large family -- all made her special to the little nieces and nephews who were lucky enough to visit her, and to receive visits from her.
It is good to see how much she was loved.

I have never met you , but every time I spoke with you I called you Grandma. Each and every time you giggled that contagious ,sweet giggle and said ,I`ve never met you but you can call me Grandma!! I was thrilled !! Then , Grandma told me that I sounded like a girl from the south , which was adorable because I`m from New York !!! At the end of every phone call ,she always and I mean always said to me ...just take care of my Michael !! And each and every time I promised her that I would !!! I really wished that I had met Grandma in person but I feel that I knew her.She always told me that she loved me each and every time we spoke as she was giggling and saying ...that it was okay that we never met !!!! So Grandma...I love you and yes, I will take care of your Michael !!!! xoxoxo
