To Chuck, Charlie, Mary and the rest of Marian's family:
From the first time that I met Marian, I always felt welcomed in her home. Both she and Chuck went out of their way to make me feel comfortable in their presence. They were like extended family to me! I know that she made Mary feel like there was someone there for her when she needed someone to talk to.
I'm sure that Mary, as well as the rest of us, will miss her very much. Going to Tacoma will never be quite the same without her! The one regret that I had is NOT knowing she loved jazz music as much as I do, before she was gone.

We have such wonderful memories of Marion. Her laughter, champagne, Sandi, her love of her fish pond, Pout Babies, her love for my sister Mary, her hospitality, her love for her family and friends, her kind and generous nature, and most of all her sense of humor. We will truly miss her. She’s now cruising on the waves of heaven.##imported-begin##Tony & Michele Villari##imported-end##
Marion's acceptance of my daughter
as the wife of her son was total
and complete. She became a second
mother to Mary and was alwasys there
for her. Knowing her has been a very special time in my life her
love for life and the people around
her was truly wonderful. She will
always be very much missed. She
has stepped from time into eternity
right into the arms of our Lord. I
am looking forward to having a glass
of bubbly with her someday.##imported-begin##Jean McDaniel##imported-end##

To my mother-in-law,
I love you and miss so much. I don't know what to do with myself now that you are not here to talk to. I hope you are happy and peaceful now, because if anyone deserves to be happy it's you. I will see you again someday, and we will have our glass of champagne that I promised you.
Love always,

Marian's membership (since 1987)in the Clothing and Textile Advisor program with WSU Cooperative Extension was a gift to the university, her co-volunteers and the many adult students she reached out to when teaching young low-income military families. "Teaching Is To Touch a Life Forever" Marian touched many lives.##imported-begin##Lessie Tompkins##imported-end##
