I will always remember his good humor and zest for life.
I remember the first time my parents brought me out to Washington to visit aunts, uncles, and cousins. It was the summer between 4th and 5th grade and my first conscious memory
Meeting Rosie
She took us to the farmers markets in Seattle and bought some of the most delicious meat I had ever tried at that point and asked me if I knew what it was. When I asked she told me they were Rocky Mountain oysters (as I had just learned on the drive out what they were) I had never turned so green so fast and I remember to this day the laugh Rosie and my dad had.
That whole trip I remember her being the life of the party, always laughing, smiling, and joking around making me feel extremely welcome like I had known her my whole life. I still think back and have happy memories from that trip and she was a huge part of that.
While it’s been a long time since I last saw her she’ll never be forgotten. The world was a better place because she was in it.
My condolences

I loved Rosie! While serving at McChord AFB Rosie worked in our dept. She basically adopted me and a few other airmen into her family. Many memories of dinners, and parties with her husband Rudy and daughters Katrina and Tania. A beautiful soul and family. Heaven is lucky to have her! Condolences to all the family and friends touched by her.
