Marguerite "Maggie" Fay Hutchinson Ehnat Anderson was born in 1927 and quietly departed this life on November 26th, 2016. Maggie was the oldest of five children raised in Aberdeen, Washington. After graduating from high school in Read Obituary
Maggie was such a special lady, always taking part and helping in Oakland activities. From preschool to PTA, Boy Scouts and any other thing that would benefit our community. She always had a smile and a cup of coffee for everyone, a heart of gold.
She was loved and will be missed by many many people. It was a privilege to have known her.

I am so sorry to hear of Maggie's passing. I have such fond memories of sitting around the table with her and Helen and Dorothy drinking coffee and solving the problems of world. She always had a big smile on her face and made everyone feel good. She will be missed. But I know there's a table in heaven she and the Oakland ladies are sitting around a table drinking coffee and other stuff and still laughing and solving the problems of the world.

Maggie was one of the most kindest and sweetest people I know. She always saw the good in everyone and was there to help you. I always loved visiting with her and will miss our talks on the phone. We Love you and will miss you dearly.
Maggie was such a blessing to all of us who were fortunate to know her. As a kid growing up in Oakland I always knew that I could go to the Ehnat's and be welcomed and embraced by her. She was cute as a button, always smiling, and had an endearing personality that made everyone feel better about themselves when in her presence. Her diminutive physical stature belied the size of her heart and her capacity for generosity. It was obvious to me the first time I visited their home how much she loved her family . . . family, especially her boys, was ever so important to her! I hadn't seen Maggie for approximately 40 years, but about 5 years ago my wife and I visited the old neighborhood and stopped in to see her. She welcomed us into her home - almost as if that 40 year gap had never transpired. We spent about three hours reminiscing and talking about her sons, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She beamed from ear to ear as she showed us pictures of them all, and then wanted to hear all about our kids and grandkids. Maggies heart was so much bigger then her little body. Always a twinkle in her eyes, laughter in her voice, and kindness in her words. She always wanted to hear new songs I'd write, and was the only person I could share and sing in front of, knowing she didnt care about no musical talent, just the words.. Heavens New Angel, Maggie. Maggie was truly an angel on earth and a joy to be around. She made everyone feel special and loved. She was such a positive, caring, sweet lady and was the best hostess ever. As soon as you walked in her home she made sure you were comfortable and welcome. Memories of Maggie will forever warm my heart and bring a smile to my face. We will miss you so much Maggie!
