Margie Sarah Birch's Obituary
MARGIE S. (MAURO) BIRCH Margie was born May 2nd 1942 in Puyallup Washington, the middle of three children of John B and Dorothy M Mauro. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 8th 2007 after a 6-1/2 year courageous battle with ovarian cancer.Margie enjoyed her work greatly. She was a loyal and dependable employee of Lakewood Pediatrics for 18-1/2 years. She loved the doctors she worked for and the staff that she worked with. She would like to thank Lakewood Pediatrics for their support throughout those years. She was the #1 fan of the Mariners and Seahawks. Margie touched many lives and those that knew her will always cherish the time they shared together. She will be deeply missed,..... Margie was preceded in death by her father John B Mauro and son Thomas P Birch Jr. Margie leaves behind her two daughters, Janell (Richard) Shaffer and Kristy (Aaron) Hauenstein all of Tacoma, her ,"Main Squeeze," of 16 years E. Gayle Critchlow of University Place, her mother, Dorothy M Calloway of Edgewood, two brothers, Dominick (Judy) Mauro of Tacoma, Delmar (Barbara) Mauro of University Place, seven grandchildren, Jason, Joseph, Andrew, Alex, Aleenah, Jordan and Jaelee, Gayle,'s three children, Tami (Ron) Johnson of University Place, Doug (Susan) Critchlow and Rob Critchlow all of Tacoma, Gayle,'s five grandchildren, Kyle, Julienne, Gracen, Alyssa, and Alex. A special thanks to Dr. Baker and staff at St Clare Medical Office Building and to Tami and Sheryl for all their loving care & support, your kindness will never be forgotten.
