THE BEST GRANDMA ANYONE COULD
EVER HAVE. BY JASON SHAFFER
You watched me grow up, from a boy to a man
You came to my games, you were my number one fan
I remember your birthday, when you walked through the door
You looked truly happy, as your tears hit the floor
The times that we've shared, I will miss everyday
but don't worry about me, everything will work out okay
There are so many memories, that we have together,
you are the best Grandma, and I mean that forever
It still makes me cry, to see you in pain
those images keep playing, like it's pouring down rain
But these times aren't what made you, so special to me
it's that you always cared, and were the best that you could be
That's why working with you, was in a league of its own
you made me feel comfortable, as if I were at home
Your words have inspired me, to become someone great
it is without a doubt, it is truly my fate
In the future you will watch me, from heaven above
to care for, protect me, and show me your love
I'll always remember your laugh and your smile,
and the things that you did to go the extra mile
So I'll end on these words, that you should cherish through time,
until the one day, when everyone's fine
I want you to know, you are the best Grandma and were right from the start
I'll love you forever, and you'll always be in my heart##imported-begin##Jason Shaffer##imported-end##
