Condolences to Betty & Warren and other family members.
I have fond memories of Margaret and Roy at the Crescent Heights Grocery, of course we always called them Mr./Mrs. LaPlante. They let us kids bring them coupons and pop bottles in exchange for candy. What a great memory.
I also recall Roy saving the meat bones for our dog, Shep. My mom, Marie, would say "time to pick up bones for the dog" and off I'd go, headed for the store and hoping also for a treat.
Your folks made our childhood a little sweeter back in the 1950's.
I wish you all treasured memories.
