Margaret Gallegos' Obituary
Margaret Gallegos, 80, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. She was born on July 22, 1931 in Mojave, CA to Jose and Doloris (Hernandez) Hisquierdo.
Margaret worked for many years at Ft. Lewis and McChord Exchanges.
She is survived by her life partner John Vincent Lee; sons Randy (Caryn) Mckee, Nick (Carrie) Gallegos and John Mckee; daughters Paulette Fuqua and Gail (Ricky) Isch; sisters Esther Cedillo and Frankie Armenta; brothers Henry and Ray Hisquierdo; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her two sons, Donald Anthony McKee and James Bryant Gallegos. Also, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ross, Dave and Jess Hisquierdo and her sisters, Santos Porras, Teresa Hisquierdo and Josie Perez.
She loved her family and loved to travel. She loved her church and gave her time freely to those in need of her help. She had a passion for crocheting and loved to learn new patterns. Enjoyed reading her Western or romance novels. Always enjoyed a good movie and loved to eat out!
Her sweetheart and life partner of 30 years made sure that she never lacked for anything. He was the love of her life and she will be waiting for him to join her for eternity.
She will be sorely missed by her older brothers and sisters, Ray, Henry Hisquierdo, Frankie Armenta, and Ester Cedillo.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11am, Friday, January 27, 2012 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Lakewood, WA.
