M. HOWARD SYVERTSENHoward was born in Tacoma, WA in 1912 and passed away peacefully on September 28, 2007.After graduating from Lincoln High School in Tacoma, WA, he spent time serving in the CCC's and he also served 4 years in the Army Air Force during WWII. After his discharge from the service, he was a member of the Tacoma Fire Department until his retirement.Howard is survived by sisters Sylvia Ates and Natalie Fee; nephew Don; nieces Sandra and Carolyn (Larry); and great nieces Joe Marie and Tahvia.Funeral services will be held at the Garden Chapel at Mountain View on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at 2:00PM.A private family graveside service will follow the chapel service.
