I am the great grandaughter of Helen Ronning. I remember going to visit my grandmother and Howard. He always told me the story about how he remembers when I was about 9yrs old and I took care of my cousin who wasnt feeling well on the couch. He always said I would be a good a great nurse someday. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant. I am currently pursuing my dream of being a nurse. Thanks to him and others who have encouaged me through-out the years. Would like to also include my mother Helen Roning who is 86 now. My mother and Howard shared a house for a very long time. I also remember that my family shared many Christmas Holidays with mom and Howard. I also have several pictures from over the years. We all enjoyed our visits. Howard looked after my mom very well and even helped with groceries.
Also I worked for Natalie when she worked for Lyon Van and Storage on 15th street downtown. Of course at that time I was only 16 yrs old and I am now 65yrs. old. This was one of my first jobs. When we first met Howard he told me his sister worked at Lyons and after talking a while discovered I had worked with Natalie.
We enjoyed Howard and are really glad that he had as a long a life as he did. He told us he wanted to live longer than his dad and I do believe he did that.##imported-begin##dick & valerie Haskins##imported-end##
