I was saddened to hear of Ms. Lula's passing. My mother and Lula were long time dear friends. I will cherish fond memories of celebrating our birthdays one day apart by playing bingo. I will also cherish the fishing, casino, and all the good food you would make, and make alot LOL. May you rest in paradise lovely lady, you will be missed. Love Jessica Wade
So sorry to hear of the passing of Lula, she was one of my mother, Thelma Coy's, dearest friends and was a significant person in memories of my own mother, whom she called P.T. ... I remember that on many a New Years, Lula would come over to my parents' house and make a pot of chitterlings for my mother's, birthday (not my thing),
but it was a once a year treat for my mother and part of her celebration. There were many nights when they and other friends paired up over a deck of cards, (bid whist or pinochle). The two women loved to dress up, perfume up and go out to play bingo together when the demands of work permitted. This was serious business, as they both wanted to take home some winnings. They shared a great friendship... I know how much Lula loved her family and I hope her memory will sustain you all, in the years ahead.

My memories of Lula are BJ's bingo she would win and pay for me to stay.FIshing trips to Silver Lake Wa for a weekend. I am not one to bait a hook and sit there for a bite lol. Many fun times playing cards barbecue and listening to music at the Cray house good times with family and friends laughter and love.RIP In Peace Lula ā¤ļø you.ā¤ļø
