Lucile D. KatterhagenÂ"I would live my life over again if I could; I had a wonderful life.Â"Lucile Katterhagen the Â"heartÂ" of our family was called home peacefully by God on August 25, 2006 to be with her husband Louis, daughter Susan, parents, five siblings and countless friends. Lucile was born December 31, 1921 in Long Prairie, Minn. to Jessie & Emma Braley. Lucile was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all. She has lived in Lakewood the past 59 years with her husband Louis and family. Lucile is survived by her sons, David (Debbie) of Tacoma, Joel (Kathy) of Federal Way, daughter Jill (Mark) of Tacoma, son-in-law Don (Mary) of Lakewood, grandchildren, Julie, Ryan, Megan, Melissa, Davis & Sarah and two sisters Della (Art) and Dorothy. Mom and Dad spent their retirement years traveling the United States in their motor-home as part of the Good Sam Club. Louie & Lucile were charter members of St. Francis Cabrini Parish since 1952. LucileÂ's church charity work enhanced the lives of countless people. LucileÂ's friends and family were the source of her joy and strength and they in turn loved Lucile for her remarkable kindness, strength, and her sense of humor. Lucile - thank you for your life and making our world a much better place. Your glowing, quick-witted, loving spirit will continue to live in our hearts forever. Â"Forget me not Â- remember with a smileÂ" Lucile, we miss you greatly-Godspeed!Services; Rosary Tuesday 8/29 at 10:30 AM, Funeral Tuesday at 11:00 AM, Viewing before the Rosary. All services at St. Francis Cabrini Church. There will be a reception following the service. In lieu of flowers, remembrances in LucileÂ's honor may be made to St. Francis Cabrini School.
