I will always remember Aunt Lucile as an elegant lady. I would marvel on how pretty she looked when my family and I would stop at her and Uncle Louie's house. My brothers, sisters, and myself had a lot of fun playing in the basement and outside when we were children. I enjoyed visiting with her at a nephew's wedding in June and my brother's retirement party in July. She was always so friendly, interested in what was happening with the family, and lively. Dear Louis and family,
I remember many afternoons and Saturdays at the Katterhagen's home. Lucile will always remembered by me as a wonderful mother. I can still see her sitting in the kitchen helping Susan with her homework.
Lucile is a person who exemplifies sainthood.
She will be missed.

Louie and Lucile ,Lucile and Louie just stirs up a whole lot of fond childhood memories of rainy days and summer afternoons playing civil war and running our electric trains Louie home at 430 and Daves [Buddies]call for dinner by 5 its hard to believe that was all so long ago and far away but easy and wonderful to recall, glad to be part of that wonderful life .
