Linda Lee Redford's Obituary
Linda Lee Redford peacefully passed in her sleep on Sunday September 17, 2017 at the age of 73 after a courageous year-long battle with cancer.
Linda was born in Kansas City, Missouri on January 27th, 1944. She graduated from Lincoln High School, Tacoma, WA in 1963. She spent several years working as a CNA at Bethesda Manor in Enumclaw, WA. Then went on to work at Rainier State School in Buckley, WA and finally at Muckleshoot Casino in Auburn, WA before retirement.
Linda enjoyed vacationing at the ocean, her many cats, and living in her small town surrounded by trees and wildlife. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Linda is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Donald Redford. They were married in Tacoma, Washington on October 10, 1964.
Linda is lovingly remembered by her husband Donald and their children, Anna (Troy) Clark, Tina Redford, Steven (Taneka) Redford, Penny Roberts and Paul Redford; Grandchildren, Melissa (Kyle) Schrader, Jessica Clark, Erin Redford, Ryan Redford, Brice Roberts, Brittanie Roberts, and Bucklee Scheffer. Linda is also remembered by her brothers, sisters-in law, extended family and several honorary family members as well. Linda was loved by many.
Visitation will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home on September 28th 10am–8pm.
The funeral service will be held at Mountain View Memorial Park – Valley Chapel, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW, Lakewood, WA 98499 at 11:00am on September 29th followed by graveside at 12:30pm.
Please stay for the reception at Mountain View Celebration of Life Center at 1:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, https://secure.seattlecca.org/ or a charity of your choice. Linda lived her life paying it forward, even if all she had to offer was a smile. She would be honored if you did the same in her name.
