I grew up just a few houses down from the Redford's in Buckley, WA and quickly befriended Penny after we moved in. I spent so much time there that Linda became a second mom to me in many ways. She was always there working hard, getting after us for making messes but most importantly loving us and telling us to be careful when it looked like we were about to do something stupid (which was a lot, right Penny?). :) I cannot express how sad I am for the entire family after this lengthy fight with cancer. I got the pleasure of giving her a ride to one of her treatments on my birthday this past August. So of course we had to stop for birthday lunch! That was such a great memory that I will cherish forever. Always smiling and trying to make others feel better even when she was fighting the battle of her life. Hugs to all of you all, Don, Anna, Tina, Steve, Penny and Paul.
