Lillian Kananionapua Pedro's Obituary
Lillian Kananionapua Pedro – Bright, 62 of Heeia, Hawaii passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 26, 2017, at her home in Tacoma, Washington. Born May 26, 1955 in Heeia, Hawaii, she is predeceased by her parents Daniel Kaili Bright and Caraline Kahakumaka Halualani.
She is survived by her Husband; Reuben James Lehualani Pedro, Son; Kailihao Pedro, Grandsons; Makaniku Clifford Julian Pedro and Kala’i Mateo Pedro; Sisters Teresa Bright, Keahi (John) Kahiapo and Marlene Drew, Brothers; Marcus (Sandi) Kanaina Halualani and Byron Kimokeo Bright and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Lillian (Kanani) Pedro worked for Bethel School District for over 20 years who served as a paraeducator as well as a psych clerk in many schools around the district. She was also involved in the bowling community for many years running the junior program and starting the Ohana league. She enjoyed watching her son bowl in many tournaments and leagues and watching her grandsons grow up.
Services will be held at 11 A.M., Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Mountain View Funeral Home, Memorial Park & Crematory in the Aspen Hall with reception to follow.
