Debbie,
Unfortunately I never knew your father but I wanted to send my condolences to you and your family. It probably will not bring you any comfort at this moment but maybe in the future you can look back on your father’s life and the time you spent with him and remember this quote, “Do not cry because it ended, smile because it happened.Ââ€

Chuck, Terry had the pleasure of meeting your Dad and she has fond memories. I never had that pleasure but I have the honor of calling his Son a Friend and if you are a chip off the Old Block then the Old Block was a Hell of a Man. I know what you and your Family are going through having lost Mom last month. Our Prayers and Thoughts are with You and Your Family.

With Grandpa, a parting hug was nothing quick and thoughtless. He truly embraced you and held on tight making sure you felt his love. He is at peace now and so I too am at peace and thankful to God for the memories and laughter I was able to share with my grandpa. Although he is gone from the world as we know it, he is very much alive in our hearts and swinging away on a golf course up above. Swing away Grandpa, and reserve that tee time for when we see you again.##imported-begin##Amber Stringer##imported-end##
My sincere condolances to the family. My memeories go back to about 1948-9 when Mike Stone,Ken Kolber myself and many others spent many a day and night in the Cooley home. Les and Betty would always make us welcome. It was so good to see Les again at Chuck's Birthday party. Chuck I hope all goes well for you, I know how hard it is to loose your last parent, Mom passed away 12/22/04. May your dad live on in the memories of all who had the privilege to know him.##imported-begin##Don Larsen##imported-end##
