Bishop Leo Charles Brown Jr.'s Obituary
Bishop Leo Charles Brown Jr. of Tacoma, WA died at his home on January 19, 2021. Bishop Brown served as pastor of True Vine Community Church of God in Christ for 45 years. He was also the Bishop of the Washington State Jurisdiction Church of God in Christ, and the founder of Progress House Association.
Bishop Brown is survived by his wife, Dr. Patricia Brown, nine sons: Wayne Brown, Anthony Brown (Melanie), Philip Brown, Fred Ross, and Michael Ross, all of Tacoma, WA. Daniel Brown and Calvin Lewis of Atlanta, GA; Stevie Ross and Jimmie Fisher (Shawnee) of California; Four daughters: Renee Brown of Suthland, MD, Angie Ross Collins (Henry) of Spanaway, WA, Cynthia Fedrick (Leo) of Kent, WA., and Dionne Thomas (David) of Atlanta GA.: One brother, Sammie Brown of Maryland, and two sisters Mildred (Eddie) Barnes, and Jane Talbert of Maryland. He also had numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, a host of friends, True Vine Church family and the Washington State Jurisdiction Family.
A public viewing will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2021 from 1:00 – 5:00 pm at True Vine Community Church, 5715 N. 33rd Street, Tacoma, WA 98407.
