Lela Lee Potter's Obituary
Lela Lee Potter; Wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and loyal friend passed away on February 3, 2019 at the age of 83. Born in Johnson County, Arkansas on December 31, 1935. Lela was the third oldest of six sisters (there was an older brother that did not survive). Lela took care of her younger siblings while her mom and dad worked outside the home. At the young age of 15, Lela met James Abe Potter and they married later. He was a soldier in the U.S Army and they moved to Washington State which quickly became their new home. Lela has two daughters; Rita K. Scott and Pamela Jividen. She was a great woman with a strong heart and even stronger faith that took care of her husband until he passed away in 1979 and her children till the day of her own passing. She is survived by her two daughters, three sisters, two grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and too many close friends, which she considered family, to count.
Lela requested in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Franciscan Hospice or "The PC Meals on Wheels" Program.
