I read with sadness, the passing of Larry. I remember so many things about the old neighborhood but one that still is in the forefront is when the then "Mr. Webb" set up his telescope in the front yard, with some kind an attachment to look at the sun and had anyone who wanted, view the "sun spots." Grandpa, You are already missed so much bu all of the family! You were always so strong, and held the family together! I'm so glad I have been blessed with you as my grandpa, It means so much to me. Grandpa you were the best Grandpa anyone could ever ask for. To my kids you will always be known as "sweety papa". I will never forget the many times I would come to you for help with a problem, you were always there. Or how somw would say I was to old to sit on your lap but still in my thirty's there was always a spot on your lap for me. But I know your now hand in hand with Grandma again. To Karen, Dennis and Ken: Your dad was the best! He always had a smile on his face. I remember your family as always being the first to have the latest and greatest product produced because Larry was so progressive. You had the first color TV, microwave, dishwasher, home video game Pong. The 20th century brought VCR's and home computers and Larry was right there with it all. Larry would always spend time with us as kids playing ping-pong on your patio, playing chess or staying up to midnight playing Canasta or Monopoly. Larry was the coolest! He took you to Disneyland and encouraged the outdoors with his metal detecting finding buried coins and treasures. He had a big heart opening his home to all of us. Larry has made a lasting impression on my life. I will always have a warm spot in my heart for him along with Dorothy.
